John Sessions - Vintage Aircraft Pilot with Commercial Law Background

John Sessions guided a commercial law firm from offices in Seattle, Washington. He met clients’ domestic and International transactional needs and took on complex taxation and international trade matters. Adept in structuring businesses and contracts, recently he has focused on energy policy. Mr. Sessions earned Martindale-Hubbell’s prestigious AV rating at the first opportunity for election.

Early in his career, Mr. Sessions was an assistant to the city manager in El Segundo, California, providing analysis and staff support to the city manager and mayor while pursuing an MBA at the University of California, Los Angeles. Later he became a project manager with the Washington, DC, firm Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. where he applied analytic approaches to measuring government agency performance. While in Washington, DC, he earned his J.D. degree from Georgetown University Law School.

Mr. Sessions is a vintage aircraft professional who has, over the decades, performed in more than a hundred air shows. A Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society, he also served for many years as an American Foundation board member for the Royal Air Force Museum. He is an Air Transport Pilot with multiple type ratings for war bird aircraft.
